  • Construction Labourer

    Dec 13th, 2021

    Location: Ontario

    Hours:      Full Time

    Responsibilities

    • Cleaning and preparing a job site
    • loading and delivering materials
    • operating hand and power tools of all types: power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, air hammers, earth tampers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments
    • signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials. - dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications
    • clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials
    • able to handle/lift materials, - perform activities or responsibilities as directed by the site superintendent/foreman.

    Working Conditions: - Exposure to jobsite conditions including moving machinery, loud noises and inclement weather. - Travel will most likely be required. - Must have a valid drivers licence.

  • Concrete Pump Operator

    H2Ontario is currently seeking an experienced  CONCRETE PUMP OPERATOR to join our growing team!

    Job Responsibilities 

    • Sets up, use and maintain tools and equipment associated with concrete pumps mounted on trucks
    • Safely operate and drive a concrete pump truck
    • Communicate with others, using signals, radios, to start and stop flows of materials
    • Record pump information data such as products and quantities pumped and operating times
    • Comply with safety regulations and precautionary measures

    Job Qualifications and Prefferred Skills

    • Minimum 3 years of concrete pumping experience
    • AZ license
    • Clean Drivers abstract and CVOR
    • Able to navigate the basic use of a smart phone
    • Able to communicate clearly and effectively

  • Form Setters and Labourers

    H2Ontario is hiring concrete form setters and labourers. Experience in the concrete construction trade is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidates. Projects involve, (but are not limited to): concrete footings, foundation walls, insulated concrete panel forming, concrete floors and flatwork.

    Job Responsibilities 

    • Willingness to learn and improve skills in the concrete construction trade
    • Concrete form setting and general carpentry for concrete walls and occasionally concrete flatwork
    • Use of power tools
    • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
